Hi ,

I can confirm the same issue - quickest solution for me is to pull the app menu from the bottom, then go back. And the quick access menu is working again.

There is more bugs to report. hm maybe there should be one topic to report? not sure if something here is passed to devs?

Ever since this Android 10 update the buttons that are at the bottom of the screen, to access phone, messaging, camera, chrome are all becoming unresponsive randomly throughout the day. Restarting phone fixes the issue. It happens a few times a day. Most recently it happened immediately after returning to my home screen after being on FB. Can't say atm if the occurrence too place after FB any of the other times. I'll start taking note. I don't want to put my phone in safe mode for a whole day just to wait for this issue to reveal itself. Any of y'all have the same thing happening?

PS. Don't expect to use this phone on TMobile. It's horrible on this network all across the USA.

Anybody else having this issue?

How many guinea pigs with software issues does it take to have mega company Sony acknowledge that the problem even exists? It's nice to have a bunch of people here trying to help each other but why doesn't Sony chime in and provide the customer service? Because they only want your consumerism money, that's why!

Sony even wants much much more money from customers.

To that intent they try to create phones with good software.

It's not in their interest to deny problems.

When problems can be reproduced a fix will be made.

Some problems come up at random in a minority of devices.

These are the hardest to tackle.

In general a Software repair using Xperia Companion will resolve the issue.

Read about precautions and backup before doing so in the FAQ section of this forum.
