Software update now no photo album

Just done a software update and now unable to access my photos or videos.

If you tap the icon for photo album it will open then auto close straight away.

If that fails:

You can try this:

Goto settings-> apps & notifications-> find Album app -> storage & cache -> clear cache & clear storage

Does that resolve your problem?
