Alarm Icon on Notification Bar after upgrade to Android 10

Anyone encounter this bug whereby there is no alarm set but the alarm icon will appear on the top of the Notification Bar and the under the Clock widget.

I try to search similar issue online and some mention to uninstall the News Suite which I did but the alarm icon is still there even after I restart the phone.

Anyone has other solutions, please share, thanks.

What time is the alarm saying its set for.?

Have you checked that you have no alarms set for every day of the week..they show up like that on the bar, and widget.

If the alarm goes off, you end it, and then it reappears for the next day in the bar, and widget again.

Hi, the alarm is being set at Next Wednesday, 10am.

I have check all my related apps on backup timing and calendar entries, there are no alarm or reminder set on next Wednesday, 10am.

It seems to be a bug for android 10 as I do not have such issue previously on Android 9.

I have check around and manage to find other same issues encountered by Huawei users, they have suggested the below solution so I tried it and it works.

Those who encounter same bug as me can try it too!

Solution :

Set a new alarm, reboot, and then delete it.

The alarm icon will be gone automatically and it will not be back.

It seems to be a bug, the same alarm icon comes back after a while, guess it will happen to other phones with Android 10 too.
