Sony Xperia 1 GPS not working properly

Hello there.

I have purchased the new Sony Xperia 1.

And i am having problem using the Google Maps, it's because of the GPS problem.

As i check it through the service menu the GPS does not shows any data and just keeps on loading. But after long time when it suddenly works then it shows alot of satelites and at the same time google maps also starts working properly.

But then after a very short period of time it stops and google maps says "GPS signal lost".

I really need to solve this issue because i need to use google maps. Kindly help me if anyone have any solution for it. Thanks.

same problem, but Sony doesn t give on it! they are more concerned to collect data and drain your battery faster.

I'm sorry to hear that, Does your phone has a protective case? If it does, have you tested the phone without it?

Have you restarted and perhaps boot in >>> Safe mode
