Looking for a copy of invoice for Sony Laptop purchased back in 2008

Hi there,

i am hoping somebody from Sony can help me out here. i am looking to acquire a copy of an invoice for a Sony Laptop along with a 3 Year warranty for the laptop purchased back in some time in March 2008.

My Student Awards Agency has been harassing me for years despite me having told then l had sent the receipt back then. The Laptop was purchased as l was awarded a Student Disability grant and had to provide receipts for all items approved for purchase.

The laptop is the Sony VAIO VGN - AR61E with a 3 year warranty, purchased from l believe the Sony Centre shop that was still open back then in Aberdeen, Scotland.

I hope that somebody from Sony can search their sales archives to locate a copy of the receipt/invoive that shows the cost of the items purchased.

Hey @Stephen2000,

Sony Centre is separate from the Sony brand, they're basically "licensing" the name somehow and they sell Sony stuff but are technically still a 3rd-party like Currys, JL, etc..

If you tried reaching out to Sony Centre and they couldn't help, why not reach out to your bank and get some kind of proof that way?
