Switching soundbar to bluetooth switches TV to empty black hdmi 3 screen

Hello all,

When switching the input on my Sony Theatre Bar 8 HT-A8000 to bluetooth it automatically switches my Sony Bravia 8 2024 K65XR80 to hdmi 3 with no display as well. I would like to use my soundbar for music and watch TV at the same time. What’s the best solution to fix this? I would like to preserve the volume control on my TV remote.

Disconnect the soundbar from the TV?

Switch the TV to using its internal speakers first?

What happens if you just switch the TV to another input after selecting Bluetooth?

How are you selecting Bluetooth anyway - on the soundbar or on the TV?

I‘m also not clear if you just want the music, or if you want the TV sound also?

Hi , Bluetooth is for sound files , maybe that´s why the screen got black

Hi again , when a tried a CD with mpIII on an old CD-player , The screen shows the List of the songs ! And played it on the Soundbar , so it varies ~

( but this was with ARC )
