Because once you recorded digitaly a track to the MiniDisc there a serial copy protection that prevents you from doing an other generation digital copy through digital output.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you recorded from analog source then all track marks should have been written right and if the synchr feature turned on on the RCD-W100 the recording should start/stop&amp;nbsp; along with the MD player.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;am having problem with sync recording from my sony minidisc machine through optical cable to my sony rcd w100 recorder; the machine fails to recognize when i press play on md to start sync recordning (i have to manually start recording and then it will recognize and mark tracks from then on to the end but then will not recognize that music on md ends and keeps recording silence&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It also fails to sync record from analogue source; has to be done manually&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
