Faulty Aiwa cassette system

An (old )Aiwa DSP CD Stereo Cassette model cx-nv150 requires attention to CD player and only sound from one speaker. Simply not playing the CD.

Rarely used unit so still in great shape.

Sony has taken over Aiwa repairs so hoping someone can point me in direction of reasonable repair.
