Thank you for taking the time to answer.

Following 5 'phone calls to Sony 'support' (thats a laugh!) I ended up at Nedis. They informed me that there were unable to supply. I went back to Maplin and they have loads of adaptors but unless I supply them with the ampage of the radio, I'm just whistling in the wind. I did ask Sony 'support' if they could advise me on ampage but they said for me to look at the old adaptor. That was after I had said, twice, that it had been lost/mislaid. God give me strenght!

sorry for the late reply..

I've been informed that the charger is a standard 3.5m 6v AC adaptor.

I'm unsure as to why nedis will not supply but if it's any help the part number is X21887631 although you may find it cheaper elsewhere..:smileywink:
