How Do I Purchase An AS300 In The UK!?!

I've been interested in either the AS300 or the FDR-X3000 for months, but everytime I look it looks as though Sony have no intention of selling them properly in the UK. I find it quite weird that Sony is forcing potential customers to jump through so many hoops to look for their product.

The X3000 is available but only with the wrist mounted remote viewer which is quite frankly in my opinion useless given that it also comes with a phone app. As it happens, the viewer puts another £100 or so on (going by the American prices) and I don't want to be ripped off on something I'm never going to use. Besides, I'm not even likely to use the 4K either - hence ideally I'd rather have the AS300.

So if anybody knows where I might obtain one of these cameras, I'd be much obliged!

Neither the FDR X3000 nor the HDR AS300 are sold without the wrist remote in Europe.

I though can highly recommend to try and find someone to sell your remote to before you buy the camera, since there is a high demand for just purchasing the remote, which is not sold seperately in Europe either.

So if someone broke the remote, they would be happy to buy it off you for 100 pounds instead of buying it from https://sony.encompass.com/ for twice the price.
