i am getting trouble with eye focus not working on birds , if i turn camera off then on it works again had a few coment on this , will there be a firmware update to get this sorted please .

tried all the different settings in the bird focus but still the same , seems to clear when turning off and on

a bit of a clitch on the a7 r v updated to latest firmware as of sept 23

If you want to report an issue to sony's support, please decribe how it happen with the more details you can.

If there is a known workaround support probably will tell you how.

If a firmware update is needed the route for japan's engegneers is way longer, but we can try.

Hi,

It's talking about the cases that may the Eye AF function not to respond correctly.

You can also try to turn off the camera and remove the battery pack for 2 minutes to eliminate any possible software glitches that might be causing this.
