Sony Rx100 mark iii menu/image issues

Hello I have a rx100 iii and it’s started showing some odd issues.

when I access the menu it keeps automatically scrolling through all the options. I can’t stop it. Same thing for when I access images on my sd card - just scrolls through all the images on it.

i can still take pictures but I’m currently overseas. I can’t initialise either because it keeps scrolling through all the menu options.
