Sony RX10-M4 SCN settings

Can anyone explain why Sony gives you creative options i.e SCN (scenery) but no control over the DoF. It seems to be max f4 when, as we all know, we should be considering apertures of anything from f8 through to f16 (this is max f setting of the Sony anyway). Makes the setting completly redundant.

Thanks Sean- be interesting to see if this is the same generally or if I have missed something in the settings.
