Mains cable for SR55E

Anyone know where I can obtain a replacement mains cable for the DCR SR55E charger? It has a weird shape plug so is it imperative that the polarity is correctly wired? If not a normal "figure of 8" type plug would suit.

As long as you use the supplied AC Adaptor any "figure of 8" plug lead should be fine. If you need the whole thing the part number for the AC Adaptor is 147928521 and for the power cord 182726912.

Both can be ordered from our main parts supplier http://www.semenedis.com or usually from you local Sony Centre.

Thanks for that, I did wonder if it was necessary for the current polarity to be exactly correct but I have now tried the figure of eight cable and it works fine. Thanks for your advice.
