Sony FDR-AX700 viewfinder

I have just bought a new FD-AX700 and found the image in the viewfinder and LCD display to be very dark. I have been through all the help document but didn't spot an option to brighten the viewfinder, while there is one for the LCD. Has anyone else found this and did you manage to resolve it? Thanks for your help. Ray.

The Viewfinder doesn't have brightness adjustment. Have you tried this?

Hi Joe,

Yes I tried that adjustment and fitted the rubber cup. It still appears much darker than the monitor but I guess I'll get used to it.
