Sony AX53 issues

I have used my camera for a few years. The warranty is over so I am hoping that it doesnt cost too much to fix the camera's issues.

1. touchscreen is not working - without the touchscreen - my camera is sort of useless. I am using a remote to pan in and out, as well as record. However, this would only allow me to do very very basic stuff.

2. the battery in the camera (not the removable battery) is done - the camera keeps going into the initial mode (asking me to choose a language). Meanwhile because 1st issue, I cant use the camera unless I "pretend" I am charging the camera using the multifunction port. Unplug it and turn off the camera. Turn it back on to use it. This will only last as long as I dont turn off the camera for a long period of time or switch the removable battery.

Is there a remote I could use to somehow connect my camcorder ie. RMT835? which would let me play/fast forward and rewind etc

How much will it cost to send over the SONY camera to fix the issues?

How long does it take to fix?

Does anyone know what to do?

Oh, that's a lot of issues for one camera!

I would recommend checking them before actually buying one, to see if they suit your needs.
And for the rest, I believe you need to contact Sony directly for the rest of the information about the repair cost and where to send it.
