Hi, I can’t seem to figure out my password but I have files that I want to get on the laptop. How can I get this password?

If that is a request for the BIOS Password, you will need to contact Sony Support who may be able to provide a 'one-time' password. They will want to know that you are entitled for this as the owner of the Vaio.

Unfortunately, you will need to know which Sony Support to contact. Can you look for another Model number - something like PCG-V505EX - as I think you are quoting the chassis number of a series of Vaios.

If it is a PCG-V505EX then this is a Sony USA model and you will need to contact Sony USA here:-

If it is a PGC-V505CP then this is a Sony Europe model and you need to contact Sony EU Support here:-
