Sony DVD RW DW-U12A does not recognize CD media naymore

Hello,

though the Sony DVD RW DW-U12A in my Vaio desktop does still play DVD media, it does not recognize CD, CD-R or CD-RW media anymore. A firmware update and regedit on Loer and Upper Filter didn't help me. Does anyone know just what to do about it? TY for helping me.

owohl ich mit meinem Sony DVD RW DW-U12A DVDs abspielen kann, erkennt er CD, CD-R und CD-RWs nicht mehr. Auch ein Löschen der Lower und Ppper Filter mit RegEdit hat nix gebracht. Wer kann mir helfen? Danke!

Hallo Leute,

der Support von Sony ist wirklich einmalig. Nicht einmal einen Treiber für ihre Hardware stellen de people ins Internet. Soviel zur Kundenfreundlichkeit in Nippon. Die Konsequenz: von diesem Hersteller werd ich nicht mal mehr Speichermedien erwerben.

nothing tops the Son support. Not even downloads are available to repair your system. How will i deal with taht? I will not even buy a CD sold by Sony anymore.

le support de Sony m'enerve. Il n'y a même pas des pilotes qu'on peut telecharger. Alors je ne vais plus acheter des produits vendu par Sony.
