Award Bios vs. AGP 8x

hi there

i own a vaio rx402,.. pushed with 1 gig ram and a mx4200!

now a have run 3dmark2001 to check the real performance of my system and what must i see... the agp rate is set to 1x!

because on my boar there is "only" an award bios rev. 1.xx i haven't the possibility to switch the agp rate to 4x!

what should i do? it's definitely borring me

the motherboard is an "nowhere to find" ASUS A7N266VX and i dont know how (if it is possible) to upgrade my bios version!

Do a search for something called the GeForce Tweaker on Google or such like. It is a tool that lets you tweak almost every setting of your card. I have used it and can now set the AGP rate
