I have a sony vaio y vpcyb1s1e and when i press the assist button the notebook do nothing. Does anyone knows what is about? Sorry for my bad english, i am tired.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THE ASSIST BUTTON IS FOR ON MY SONY VIAO .AND WHAT IS FIRMWARE EXTENSION PARSER AS MY LAPTOP ASKING FOR ME TO DOWNLOAD I HAVE JUST GOT MY LAPTOP DONT REALLY KNOW WERE TO LOOK FOR THE DOWNLOAD .I HAVE THE SONY VPCCA2SOE

Hi karhanna,

Pressing the ‘Assist’ button when the operation system has loaded will open Vaio Care. Pressing the ‘Assist’ button when fully shut down will launch Vaio Care Rescue. It may help if you have a look at the manual for your model.
