The harddisk is a 4.500rpm drive wich slows the system down a lot. I have seen slower laptops boot much faster then this one.<BR /><BR />I was therefore thining to upgrade/replace the hardisk. to a minimum of 5.200rpm drive or even a 7.200rpm drive.<BR /><BR />Now two question arise:<BR />1. Wil i void warranty doing so? (i think i do but i can't see any seal that i need to break in order to open the panel to access the HDD)<BR /><BR />2. What will this do in terms of heat. (will the system "melt down" or can it handle a faster HDD or do i need to take some precautions?)
