recently purchased bravia kdl40ex403 and upon tuning in to freeview channels there are some missing , notably bbc etc. on auto tune i only pick up 37 channels NO hd channels. Tried to manual tune but no better, just seemed to skip past channels. I have 3 other tv sets in home which although they only pick up certain channels on auto tune , on manual tune they pick up at least another 12 or so channels including bbc etc.. How can i pick up bbc etc on the bravia ? Any ideas ?

Sounds like you need an aerial upgrade

I had a problem with my bravia KDL-32EX403 in auto tune it found all the chanels but would not store them, I got NO SERVICE STORED message on the screen. I finally solved it by disconnecting all peripherals and only the aeril connected, then did a factory reset. then auto tune again and it worked perfectly first time.

I hope this helps anyone else having tuning trouble.
