Hope someone can help. I am having problems connecting my Bravia (kdl-26s3000) tv to my imac (apple pc). I am using a mini display port to hdmi lead, it is connected to av 4 and i have connected a 3.5 jack plug (from imac) to 2 phono plugs(via an adaptor) on the tv (as described in the hand book). I have a picture but no sound. What am i doing wrong? My local Sony shop says i have to change the sound settings to aux but i can't find that anywhere on the MENU. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Thank You.

I have exactly the same problem. It seems that you can choose to either (i) have the video, or (ii) the audio, from your PC/mac on your Bravia but not both at the same time. This is shockingly bad design. I am massively disappointed with my first Sony TV. None of the features I bought it for actually work.
