KDL-40EX503 does not switch on

Hi,

This is one of those `I'm sure I must have done something wrong' questions...

My KDL-40EX503 TV was delivered this morning and after spending half an hour connecting everything up, I've discovered that it won't turn on. Before I arrange for a replacement, I thought I'd better check that there wasn't something I need to do that I haven't, or something I shouldn't have done that I have 🙂

Does anyone know of any reason why the TV won't switch on, other than a problem with it?

sorry to state the obvious is there a fuse in the plug and is it good

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly - as far as I can tell everything is as it should be. As it's brand new out of the box, after a quick Google session I decided to bite the bullet and send it back.

New one comes Saturday, so I might be back....although I hope not!
