Sky News is live on BRAVIA Internet Video

Pleased to announce that next week should see the launch of Sky News on the platform.

Few key points:

The big obvious difference between this and Sky News already on Freeview/Sky is this is a VOD service so you can watch the clips whenever you want, rather than waiting for stories to cycle around in the loop as on linear TV.
For now, this is just Sky News service, not Sky Player or any other Sky service.
Depending consumer usage and feedback, Sky will look to add more news categories and number of clips in due course.
Service is available in UK and the Repubic of Ireland only and without any advertising ( as far as I know)
A usual the services normally get pushed out Tuesday evenings so Blu-ray owners will get a pop up prompting to scan for new channels and BRAVIA users can either manually rescan, or it should automatically appear, normally within 48 hours or so of it going live.
