I just got a KDL 32654. Its upand running o.k but I have a Panasonic HDD Recorder I use an HDMI to connect it to the but it wont recognise it if its in HDMI port 1 or 2 when you go to settings it states only operable when unit is connected which it is. Any one help or are these not compatible.

Hi there

Can you confirm if another device works in the HDMI1 and 2 ports? If another device doesnt work, you may have a hardware fault on the ports and suggest a replacement from your dealer.

If another device does work, try replacing the HDMI cable with another one.

Thanks for quick reply the HDMI lead seems faulty I have tried another its o.k. All I have to do now is get it to accept my hi fi amp
