Tv keeps switching off kdl40ex403

My tv just keeps switching off and the red light blinks, switch it on again it just turns off randomly after 10 mins. Have unplugged etc nothing is working...any suggestions apart from buying a new one please??

Hi there

When the TV switches itself off, and the red-light blinks (repeatedly), this indicats that that TV is very unhappy and therefore developing/developed a hardware fault.

To get a better idea what the fault is, count how many red blinks the TV is doing and compare it with : HERE

I would suggest that you contact an Authorised Sony Repair Centre : HERE
