I also heard that EPG is not available on my 2010 HX and EX series BRAVIA TVs any more from April 30, 2024.

I wonder how and why this is done. There is a standard that defines how EPG information is transferred to the TV and I have not seen any changes to that standard recently. Is this something Sony is doing to sell more TVs by crippling old ones?

You can still use them. You’ll just have to start buying the Radio Times 😛
