topic HT-S200, help needed. Audio stops coming out of it after a set amount of time in Home Cinema, Projectors & Players

Hi,

I'm a new owner of this soundbar. I do like it, but in the few days, I've been using it, it does have this big issue. The soundbar will work fine for awhile (say, a couple of hours), but then each time it's suddenly losing audio. It's like it's been muted but it hasn't. The only way to get audio back is by switching HDMI input, or sound output on tv and then switching back again.

It's happening on PS5. I have not used other inputs enough to know if it's just a PS5 issue, yet.

I've now tried two 2.1 HDMI cables. The first one I tried, worked perfect with my last soundbar. The second is a fiber optic cable. So, they were not crap cables.

Any ideas, on what could be causing this? I'm almost tempted to try an optical connection to see if the issue persists. But I'm reluctant to do that as I then lose features.

Thanks of any help.
