Why does my recorder state that the EPG function cannot be used now? The Title List displays alright but not the Guide.Why?

1. Do you have the Digital Tuner selected (not the Analogue Tuner)?

2. Is the digital EPG guide selected in 'System Menu -> Basic -> EPG Type Select'?

3. Is the recorder plugged in 24/7 so it can receive EPG Updates?

Hi Blencogo

Thanks for prompt reply.

However although Digital Tuner is selected and I've checked that EPG not Guide plus is selected and recorder is always plugged in,I still have problem with no display of EPG guide.

I'm not being sexist when I say I never had this problem until 2 wks ago I showed my wife how to record something and left her with the recorder remote! She pressed something I think and I cannot work out what.

Any other ideas please?

Despite your 'digital tuner is selected', I'd still say you have the wrong input selected and that you have Line 1, Line 2 or Analogue selected instead of DTT.

My bet would be the GL has pressed the Input button one or twice and you have the Analogue tuner selected.
