How to get the FM radion on the Xperia 10 III to work ?

Has anyone being able to get the FM radio on Xperia 10 III to work ?

I understand it needs a 3rd party app for the FM radio to work.

Lots of people talk about the radio on the Xperia 10 III but I haven't come across anyone who has managed to get it to work.

Hey @John24 , Xperia phones don't come with preinstalled FM Radio app any more, but it has the transmitter, so you can download a 3rd party app. Did you download any and it didn't work?

I don't have a recommendation for a specific app really, but, I'd usually go for the app with high rating on Google Play Store, and suitable for what I need to have in the app.

Hi EMS_M072 do you know of any real FM apps on google play store ?

I had a look and all the "FM radio" apps seem to be for internet radio.

I'm afraid not, all the apps on Google store are internet apps 

However, I searched and found this Google store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rodrigmusic.fmradio&hl=en

It doesn't have a good rating though, but you can test it to see if it will do the job, and if you didn't like you can uninstall it .

Do you know if its possible to download the original FM radio app from the Xperia 10 one and use it on the Xperia 10 III ?

It's hard to be honest. It will be like an APK app, and that's not guaranteed to work on the phone.
