Xperia 5 V Hi-Res Problem with WH-1000XM4
Model: Xperia 5 V
Problem: Bluetooth/volume issues
Actions Taken: Mention the steps you've already tried (Developer Options, max settings with LDAC codec).
The problem is, I have Xperia 5 ii. Had to upgrade it because of battery started to drain quicker. On Xperia 5 ii, I could tweak the Bluetooth on Developer options and could get the Hi-Res Sound Quality.
However, after I changed the settings on Developer options to the max possible for LDAC codec along with turned off anything related to "stamina" or battery saving options. Xperia 5 V does NOT seem to provide any better sound quality. (When I am mentioning the "sound quality", I am referring to the rich bass and louder/clear high sound as Hi-Res)
I could not find any other contact place to any Sony official page or form other than this forum. Anyone knows how to tweak Xperia 5 V to Hi-Res without disrupting the operating system, please let me know.
Or the most importantly, SONY fix it!

Hi @sonic_ Ensure your device and headphones have the latest firmware updates. Sometimes, updates can resolve compatibility issues.

Hi @TheGOAT
I had already the latest versions on my devices, but confirmed that they are having the latest update versions.
So the problem remains.
Do you have any chance to test it with these devices?

Hi @sonic_, have you tried to use the 360 reality audio? Follow the steps here and check if it makes a difference: https://helpguide.sony.net/mobile/xperia-5m5/v1/en/contents/personalize_sound_quality_360_reality_au... Also, to be able to enjoy Hi-Res audio, make sure that the Dolby sound function is turned off by following the steps here: https://helpguide.sony.net/mobile/xperia-5m5/v1/en/contents/enhance_sound_output_dolby_sound.html
And using the Sony Sound Connect app for headphones, adjust the settings in this link: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/hpc/v1/en/contents/TP0001548872.html

i mistakenly chose your answer as solution. Your website is forcing me to use it in Polish, that was a mistake.
I am very well aware of those settings. those are not the solution at all. as a person who enjoys and plays with sounds in high quality, i prefer not to listen any live processing or altering the original sounds. all those are maybe good for endusers.
Therefore all those settings are always off. And the solution is to make the Hi-Res by the developer settings for the devices I use.
Thank you for suggestion but that is not the solution.
