Hi All,

For those of you curious on the latest news regarding Android Pie for Sony Android TV, I would suggest you tune into our Live Stream today 15:00 CET after the Sony press conference at IFA 2019 Berlin.

Cheers,

Hi

Still nothing from IFA about Android 9 pie but it might be useful to take a look at this link which is about 9Pie on an Android TV box. So some of the Google related items probably apply across the board

SDMC showed off a new Android TV set-top box at the IBC 2018 Conference. The device running Android 9.0 Pie OS, supports 4K, comes loaded with 1GB RAM and is powered by an Amlogic S905X processor. Learn More: www.sdmctech.com

If you have an external media  pc or  androidtv box l ikethe nvidia shield for example then  use that instead, it has more  storage and memory and offers more flexibility

What about 4K content via USB media playback issues? Still a thing? Haven't been on this thread for a while and wondering if there is a fix...rolling back the native video app seems to improve or stabilize somewhat and a kind of fix...

Morning campers. I've got the KD49XD8077 prompting me to update, to what version I don't know? If it's Oreo are we OK to update or are there still unaddressed issues with the update?
