Hi. I have an android smart TV and am concerned that it has no anti virus installed. As various apps (Netflix etc) require log ins, this has to place me, and other users, at risk of having personal information, including bank details, stolen in the event of a hack, malware attack etc. I'm particularly concerned at my liability should my bank details be obtained in this way. I believe my bank may hold that I'm liable for any losses incurred having knowingly used a device without antivirus. Any suggestions? Particularly keen to hear Sony's position on this. Thanks

Also advise to keep your TV upto date with the latest firmware when released. These can contain security patches from Google too.

Not being techy, how do I keep my tv up to date with firmware?
Thanks for your help but essentially this seems to boil down to... hacking smart tv's is theoretically possible and there is no anti virus, but it shouldn't happen so don't worry! That's not reasssuring!
