hmmm, so you're trying to use it as a smartphone to connect it to your car.
I wouldn't say that's 100% gonna work, but you can try it. Not sure if the screen would show up, but you can use the cable to connect it, play music via the Walkman and test it once more.
Another method that can also work is that since it got a headphones cable, you can use an AUX cable to connect it to the car. But it also won't come up with the album list on the car infotainment system I reckon.
