Sony HT-ST5000 Frequently losing most part of the settings

Recently the soundbar has been annoying me quite a lot, because I often lose my settings. 
I realise it whenever easy setup is greeting me when I wanna do something using the GUI of the soundbar. Weird part is, not all settings will be reverted back to standard! For example, the HDMI ports stay enhanced, also the secured connection to the sub doesn't change. But most of the other stuff, like DRC, distance settings, chromecast setup and so on will be lost and has to be setup again.

Last monday I did a factory reset and configured everything from scratch. Yesterday evening I had the issue again. Used firmware: M40.R.0444 

Did anybody experience the same behaviour using this soundbar?

Answered my own question - a hard reset using the power and "-" button on the unit (not the remote and not via the menu) seems to have cleared the problem for me.

Hmm, interesting. I'm not sure if I've ever done a reset in this way. 

Usually after I've done a reset, then it was fine for several days, but the issue always came back. Let me know if you have no more issues after a week or so. Thx in advance

Tried the hard-reset, but the issue came back unfortunately...
