Hello to all,
I have just purchased the DVP-SR760H DVD player and I am
having problems with the zoom. Let me try and explain.... I set the zoom to
let’s say x2 and hey presto, there is my lovely movie looking nice and bigger
and in so much better detail than those other yucky DVD players made by that
cowboy firm Samsung. The only problem is, the zoom icon refuses to budge from
the upper right hand corner of my TV screen while I am trying to watch my so
much better detailed movie now I have purchased a Sony and not a Samsung DVD
player. I have tried sticking a piece of
heavy duty very opaque Duck tape over it, but it seems to be even worse somehow.
I have
found a way to get rid of it, but it involves going back into the settings and
enabling the zoom function once again. Am I just being finicky or maybe nearer
the truth just STUPID? I would love to be able to just set the zoom (once),
exit (once), and watch my movie now that it is so much better after not having
purchased a Samsung, I would love to view my movies without having to avoid my gaze at the top right hand corner of my TV screen where the previously mentioned icon is sat there just
smiling at me and refusing to leave it’s post.
Ok, I admit that I have only just purchased the DVD player,
and perhaps I may still be just a little over excited about not having to spend hours
converting my illegal downloaded movies into a different format to enable me to
watch them on TV, but after having pulled a not too insignificant amount of
hair from my head which is now laying in clumps on my living room carpet, I
will gladly apologise to Sony, if after writing this I finally find the
solution to this problem of mine.
Quick add on........I now find that I can't view the 'time remaining' function. It will show the 'time elapsed' but as the instructions say in the booklet, I should be able to view both.
Think I will have to change my name from 'king.bob' to 'massive moaner'.
Many Thanks.
