Can't undo default app

I accidentally selected the Photos app as my default instead of Album which I normally use. I've been told that to undo a default app I should go to settings/apps/all to find the app and remove the default status. Trouble is that Photos is the one app that isn't in there.

The app maybe called Photo editor or Photos and videos or as a last resort open Settings then Apps and tap the 3 dots menu option icon and tap on App preferences reset but this will also reset your ringtone etc

Are you sure you are on "All" tab? It should be there as long as it's installed. Try to find it also in "Downloaded" tab, after you find it scroll down and tap on "Clear defaults"
