Dear all.
First, I would like to appologize if this topic is already on the forum, because I do not know how to name it or search for it.
I am having the following problem:
I have the start screens apps icons allright.
However, when entering the section where I can see all the installed apps (Xperia Start Menu), I find 7 icons of apps that are not in my phone anymore.
They have a blue icon, with a symbol of the SD card over them. It is a blue "square" icon, and a red small circle with the SD symbol over it.
When I press over them, I have the following message: "App not found" ("No se encontró la aplicación", in Spanish).
I cannot delete this ghost apps, and maybe formating the SD card and reseting the phone is the only way to proceed.
But I was trying to avoid these two options..
I would be very grateful to receive your help.
Thank you very much and looking forward to receiving your kind reply soon!
Maria
Hi @Maria73,
I understand what you are experiencing.
There are, as far as I know, two ways to go about in this case.
One way is to download the apps that has disappeared again from Google Play, by choosing My Apps in Google Play, but you would then have to know which apps these blue icons has been previously.
The other way is, unfortunately, to perform a factory reset of your phone.
I think that to remove then from your screen you should be able to clear data for xperia home under settings-apps-all, but this will reset your customizations on the home screen. See below:

Clearing data for xperia home should fix this, however you will lose home pane customizations.
