Hello, I am just getting started with my new phone and have some doubts which I cannot resolve by reading the user manual, I hope that you can be of help. When I receive pictures via Whatsapp they go to an automatically generated folder in the device. I could not find the way of transfering them to the external memry in a direct way from the phone itself, I only could do the issue by connecting the phone to the PC and then manually created a new folder in the external memory, cutting and pasting them from one to the other. But if possible, I would like to avoid the connection and do it from the device itself. Is this possible? Thanks,

You could use the File Commander app, but there isn't a way to set whatsapp to save the pictures on the SD card.

Good morning, thanks for replying. So I can confirm that it is not possible at all. The thing came evident when I deleted some pictures from the chat in whatsapp and then realized that they also dissapeard from the folder that my device automatically generated. This did not happen in my previous phone, furthermore, I had the option of ticking the pictures and sending them directly to the micro SD card. That is why I decided to manually create a new folder and via USB cable, transfer the pictures to my external memory so that I can safely delete them from the chat without deleting them permanently. I think I will proceed this way from now on. Anyway I will take a look to the app that you recommend just in case I find it useful. Kind regards,
That's what I do > create a backup on the SD card > copy paste the folder to the SD card > back to the internal storage > look for the sent and received videos and pictures > delete them
Just the same that I do! Thanks,
