Hi @TishT,

There is no recycle bin in your phone, when you delete something it gets deleted, it's not moved to a recycle bin like for example, in Windows.

To free up additional storage in your phone I would recommend that you open up Settings and tap on Storage, here you see what is taking up the internal storage in your phone.

Scroll down a bit and look for "Cached data", this is temporary stored data from application that the phone can download again, so if you are OK with removing this data, tap on "Cached data" and press OK.

Cached data is not a recycle bin but it's the closest you will get to one in your phone! Slightly_smiling_Face

Do you have an SD card in your phone? If you do, you can transfer all your media and the application that supports this to the SD card, this will free up additional space on the internal storage of your phone.

Go to Settings > Storage > Transfer data to SD card, choose which data you want to transfer to your SD card.

If you aren't using all the preinstalled applications in your phone you can free up some memory by uninstalling updates for these apps. They will then be reset back to the factory version which is smaller in size and if you want to use them later on you can update them again.

Have a look in Settings > Apps and see if you are using all the applications in here, if you don't simply tap on one of them and the 3 dots in the top right corner > uninstall updates.

If you have the setting that will automatically update your apps turned on in the Google Play store settings you can either turn this setting off, you will then have to open up the Google Play store application > 3 lines in the top right corner > Settings > Auto-update apps > Do not auto-update apps.

If you wish to keep this option turned on and that your apps should be updated automatically over Wi-Fi or mobile data you can search for the app that you uninstalled updates for in the search field at the top of the Google Play store, tap on it and tap the 3 dots in the top right corner > unmark the checkbox next to "Auto-update". Now all other applications will be updated automatically.

Let me know if that helped! Slightly_smiling_Face
