I usually use phone on auto rotation functions, but from last two weeks, i observed autorotation is bit slow. I have to wait or shake to get requored rotation. Sometimes i locked phone and unlock in required position. Please guide me how to solve

There's a simpler way

Open the phone app > dial *#*#7378423#*#* > wait > service tests > Gyroscope

The problem is with whichever app you choose to use. If you check your gyroscope you will see that it picks up fractions on an angle change.

I used to think this was a problem and on my old phone it was due to a mix of CPU usage and me not making a deliberate move between orientation.

Test it on >>>> safe mode

M5 does have a gyro. Just use one of the hidden menus, or get a "hardware test app" from Google Play. Note: It should NOT request any permissions.

You'll see it has 3-axis gyro and magnetic sensor (forget what they are called)

Yep accelerometer is working, safe mode is also working in same manners, but during working, it may be due to load of 54 applications.

Hi !

My question is if xperia m5 has gyroscope, since a while try take photos, watch videos, etc, and it is not possible

Xperia M5 has no gyroscope but has a compass and accelerometer. Some apps can simulate the gyro by combining the two but not all apps do so.
