Sorry to hear about this. In this case, it is not possible for us to determine if the LCD is broken, this can only be advised by our service agents who need to inspect the device.
I suggest following @uliwooly's advice and getting the device through to your local service agent for assessment.

If the LCD was cracked then the phone it's not waterproof, you could request a vacuum test

The lcd is not cracked. The phone has a repair history. So, it is not waterproof anymore due to the glue of the back cover is no longer supportive.

If the phone was repaired by your Local support (Official Sony repair center) then the phone will be waterproof, if you took it to a different place or did it yourself then, there's nothing we can suggest here, sorry.
