Hi, just a few minutes ago I tried to install this new update via Update Service (Wi-Fi) on my Xperia Ray. I restarted it an then there was this progress bar, so I let it do it's job without watching the phone. Later on, I came back and everything was black, not even the green LED from charging. And now, I can't restart my phone, there is no reaction, not even in flash modus with the PC (Volume Up Rocker). I also tried different USB cables, think my phone is crashed.
Is there somebody facing the same problems or knowing the solution? Thanks in advance.

That's what I thought.
Some info for you regarding unlocking bootloader, http://unlockbootloader.sonyericsson.com/.
Suggest you check out XDA Forum for solution.
Good luck.
Hi, suggest you try SE Update Service to software repair phone, here's the download link,
http://dl-www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/110/61/1317636927/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.10.7.exe. (No requirement to switch on phone for SE Update Service).
Good luck.
Error: The mobile phone works with modified software, can't update (translated from German).
Can't even enter flash-mode with the phone anymore 😕
One question .... did you unlock phone bootloader?
Yes I did, but several weeks ago. I tested Cyanogenmod but went back to SE firmware. Then the built-in update service in my Ray offered to update, so I clicked install and then it happened.

Thanks, I'll check this out.
known issues:
"Some customers with unlocked boot loaders have experienced problems when they are accepting over the air upgrades (FOTA - Firmware upgrade Over The Air). For customers that have unlocked the boot loader, please do not accept any over the air upgrades. For additional information, check out the hints and tips from the community on the XDA forum."
This is exactly what I did, hopefully I can fix this...
Don't worry, there is solution.
Yeah, finally it's working again, thanks for the advice!
Just took Fix FOTA bricked (unlocked bootloader) for flashing, now it's working again without data loss.
