Hello
I tried updating my phone with pc companion and it failed. It only got 50%!!!
Now my phone will not turn on. It won't flash with the service tool or pc companion or the flash tool from XDA!!!
Is my phone faulty? If not what can I do???
Thanks.

I did get a phone call back from o2 telling me that they have reserved another phone for me which should be sent out tomorrow but still I ain't going to receive it by Monday so they have made me go without a phone now for 6 days.
I received the phone yesterday, unpacked it, tried turning it on and nothing would happen, it took me about 15 attempts to start the phone up. (right out of the box)
When the phone finally booted up, there was only about 35% charge in the battery, so I put it on charge, using the mains and left it on charge until it was at 100%.
Anyway after 15 or so attempts at getting the phone to boot, I thought there might have been a problem with the software installed, so I connected the phone to the wifi when I did finally get it to boot and after I charged the phone, and it said an update was avialiable, so it asked me to connect the phone to the pc (so I did) and it automatically installed PCC and began the update, however it got half way through the update about 50% on PCC and then nothing would happen, it was just stuck with the green progress bar about half way, after leaving it connected to the USB for about 30 mins it told me the update had failed.
So I disconnected the phone, tried booting it up and bang, nothing would happen, thats when I tried the flash program on XDA, and it still wouldn't flash, I even tried the update service and still it got to about 10% and then just stayed there, and after about 15 mins told me the update had failed, to check the battery etc but I think all my efforts were in vain.
The phone was not rooted, no custom kernal, it was brand new from O2.
My verdict: Faulty phone.
