I have two SONY Bravia TVs. A KDL-40EX600 and a KDL-40BX400, which have
the following weird problem in relation to the reception of digital channels.
When a TV channel is showing a motionless image for some time (e.g. a photo)
in many occasions the TV screen remains locked (frozen) on that image
and it does not change when the transmitted
program continues with something else. The audio remains unaffected.
So I keep watching the same frozen image while hearing the audio normally.
When I press the button on the remote control to move to the next TV Channel,
the TV screen shows black (empty) image but the audio can be heard normally
(in the next channel). When I press again the button on the remote control to go
back to the initial channel the problem is fixed.
What is causing this peculiar problem? Please give me your assistance.
