Help Please! This is a somewhat old computer I bought from Amazon UK when I was living in Spain about 8 years ago. It has and is still serving me well. However, I did an auto update the other day for Windows 7 and on completion, it wouldn't allow me to sign in using my old password! I haven't changed the password and I've downloaded the socalled Windows password reset free trial which takes me all the way through except when you want to reset the password, you have to pay.
As it was a Windows fault in the first place I'm loath to pay to reset the password. What can you suggest please?
