Sony CDX CA600 Adapter

I want to plug into my car (vauxhall vectra b) a sony CDX CA600.

I used an CT20VX02 adaptor (http://www.bilradiospes.no/imagecache/2012-08-24/2008-11-20-14925c142357f4_1000.jpg) so I can put my after market head into the car. It is required because Vauxhall cars don't have standard ISO audio wiring.

To my utter confusion do I need an other adapter (32pin to 16pin) in order to connect the above adapter to the sony?

Hi dimis_414,

I would say you almost certainly do.  Most companies that make these sort of adapters make one for the manufacturer of the car you own (e.g. Vauxhall), and then another for whatever make of car stereo you have, obviously Sony in this case.

I'd contact the supplier of the adapter lead and ask them what other part number you require.

Hope this helps.
