I am either cursed or these buds are made of glass! Totally unimpressed with this product. Bought my first pair new. After 12-months dropped the right ear in gym changing room and lost audio forever - the function still worked (volume/play next) but no sound. Tried all the possible fixes to no avail. Warranty checker confirmed still in warranty but Sony not willing to repair under said warranty without receipt (which I no longer have). So bought replacement right ear bud on eBay and everything fine until… guess what… dropped on floor in gym changing room and surprise l, surprise no longer any audio and nothing seems able to fix issue as per previous earbud! So now have one working left ear bud and 2 x right ear buds for parts only! These have cost me circa £250. Premium price. Budget product. Never buying Sony again. Can anyone advise of a fix?
Hi MagNiMo, physical damage isn't covered by any warranty in the entire EU, even if you had the receipt.
