My back camera is not working

Hi @Darius3, sorry to hear about this.

Do you receive any kind of error message when you are trying to use the back camera or are you just met by a black image? Also, have you been able to carry out a quick test of the camera to see if the hardware works as intended? To do this, find and tap Settings > Support > Xperia Tests > Camera.

Another thing you can try is to reboot your phone in safe mode to see if the camera app works better there. By doing this you can see whether this behaviour is caused by a downloaded app or not. 

If the same behaviour persists in safe mode, you might need to repair the software on your phone using a computer and Xperia Companion. Keep in mind though that a software repair will erase all user data, so make sure to do a backup before the repair in order to prevent loss of data.

Hello good day, a similar problem happens to me just that my main camera is completely blank and when I capture the photo it follows the blank image, do you have any solution to that? Regards! Good day!

Have you tried any of the troubleshooting that I mentioned in my previous post? If you experience this behaviour even though you performed a software repair, I would suggest that you get in contact with your local support team in order to have your phone sent to an authorized service center. If you have any questions regarding the service such as service routines, warranty and consumer laws, these kind of questions are best answered by your local support team as well, as the vary between markets.
